A subset of customers today would have experienced intermittent 504 gateway timeouts. This was caused by a server within our load balanced pool not operating correctly. We have pulled the faulting server from production so we can fix it. Unfortunately, due to the intermittent nature of the errors, it was below the threshold to trigger our automated alarm. We will review this internally to try and prevent this from occurring again.
